As President and owner, Stephen Shanley, P.E. is responsible for engineering geotechnical projects as well as overseeing field investigations, data reduction, report preparation, direction of lab, and field activities. Steve’s 40+ years of experience in the geotechnical discipline include retaining structure and deep foundation design, soil mechanics, slope stability and the completion of thousands of subsurface studies. Steve is considered an expert in his field and frequently provides professional testimony as such in courts of law. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is a registered professional engineer in Florida (FL #40653), North Carolina (NC #14965), and Georgia (GA #22376).
